Recently renovated, Y Griffin has preserved its Welsh heritage charm while adding modern touches to ensure all guests feel welcome. Alongside its restaurant and bar, Y Griffin also offers 7 beautifully designed bedrooms available all year round, catering for relaxed family dining as well as private events such as funerals, christenings, conferences, baby showers, and birthday parties.

Nestled just outside Porthmadog, Y Griffin provides the perfect base to explore North Wales. Guests can enjoy the vibrant harbour town, sandy beaches such as Black Rock
Sands, and nearby attractions like Portmeirion. The location also offers easy access to Snowdonia National Park, with its breathtaking mountain scenery and walking trails.
The Welsh village of Penrhyndeudraeth was the UK's first "networked village" when it was established in 1998, providing residents with internet access
via radio technology. This early adoption of internet connectivity in a rural community was a pioneering move for the time
